Bulldog is a skateboarding company that brings over thirty years of artwork and board design experience to the table. The Santa Monica, California brand was founded by Wes “Bulldog” Humpston in the mid 1970s. Humpston began his company in the garage behind his parents’ house—building, painting, and airbrushing surfboards and skateboards for his friends. By the 1990s, he was unstoppable. In 2002, Humpston partnered with Rich Fosmire and came out with a new series of boards that use new molds and die-cut grip tape. They eventually went on to make modern and custom molded wheels in addition to their decks. The best way to describe Bulldog’s innovation is through Humpston’s and Fosmire’s combined experience, which brings the past and present together. Bulldog skateboard decks are constructed from strong 7 ply maple. They have a slight concave, which helps riders maintain good footing and balance. Their boards are great for all skill levels, whether beginner and pro. And because their decks are so durable, there’s no tough riding conditions they can’t handle! Every Bulldog deck bottom has amazing artwork done by Humpston, who isn’t afraid to indulge in bright colors and imagery. Bulldog skateboard wheels use the latest in injected molded urethane technologies. They’re designed with speed and traction in mind, as well as laid out for a more precision bearing position. Bulldog wheels are some of the smoothest and fastest wheels on the market. Skate hard with Bulldog gear!
