KIERAN WOOLLEY – 250 QUICKFIRE QUESTIONS

An unfiltered mix of chaos with genuine stoke for skating, travelling, mates, nature and having a good time. One minute he’s talking about learning life lessons through a broken elbow, the next he’s recounting being put in cuffs in China by a security guard trying to beat him with a baton, or explaining why Burnside, Bombo Barriers and beers with the lads remain some of life’s greatest pleasures for the 22-year-old ATV.

TOP 10 OF 250 ISSUES

Australian skateboarding’s number one archivist, James Turvey, delivers his Top 10 Slams from 250 editions. “They’re all time capsules; every one of them contains something that can’t be found anywhere else, and in the digital age, that’s more important than ever.”

AEROSOL SKATEBOARDS’ ARRIVAL

“Why don’t we start a company?” The six words we’ve all either said or heard our friends say before the thought of the treacherous journey of starting a board company sets in, and puts the idea straight back to bed. Yet, when the question arose between Cameron Sparkes, Sean Ryan and Riwaz Kazi over dinner one night, it was a no-brainer that they made it a reality. We get the scoop on the long-awaited launch of Australia’s newest skateboard company, Aerosol.

BRAD SAUNDERS – HIGH FIVES

VOLCOM PREMIERE TOUR – MICROWAVE MEMORIES

Van loads of the international Volcom crew hit the road to celebrate the launch of Microwave. What was meant to be a low-pressure premiere tour quickly turned into a productive, yet party, expedition almost reminiscent of the Let’s Live era. Only this time around, the international crew spent most nights admiring possums in parks.

MCCAUGHLEY BROS NEW GEN

In a Slam first, we present a double New Gen feature with the McCaughley brothers. Leo and Paddy – two young chips off the old block – are following in the footsteps of their dad, Leif, best known for his parts in The Burbs videos, released more than two decades ago. At just 15 and 17 years old, the Geelong - based bros are already well out of the ’burbs, destroying the streets of Melbourne and beyond.
